Attorney Profile
Jeff Strom is a founding partner of Regan Strom, P.C. and a two-time Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction awarded to only the top 2.5% of all eligible attorneys. He is a seasoned and respected litigator with more than twenty years of experience litigating a broad variety of complex disputes across a range of industries and delivering exceptional results for his clients.
Since 2013, Jeff has focused his practice on representing individuals in employment, consumer protection and complex business disputes. Jeff is particularly focused on class actions involving wage and hour and consumer protection violations. He has secured millions of dollars in class action settlements on behalf of thousands of individuals.
Currently, Jeff is co-lead counsel for the Plaintiffs in a 27,000-member class-action in Massachusetts Superior Court involving allegations that a home heating oil supplier was diluting its fuel in ways that made it less valuable and harmful to customers’ equipment. Jeff’s keen attention to detail, investigative skills and exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy allowed the plaintiffs and class to obtain an exceptional evidentiary record, which led to certification of the case as a class. Jeff is simultaneously prosecuting claims on behalf of the Class in Federal Court alleging that the heating oil supplier’s insurance companies are unreasonably refusing to pay for the property damage the diluted heating oil caused.
Jeff also successfully represents individuals in employment, consumer and business disputes. Among other things, he has represented numerous individuals bringing claims for: unpaid overtime; misclassification as independent contractors; discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination; fraud; breach of contract; and home construction disputes. Jeff’s zealous advocacy has resulted in exceptional results for his clients, having secured numerous large and favorable settlements.
Since just 2018, Jeff has successfully recovered over $12 million on behalf of his clients and the thousands of class members they have represented.
Jeff has represented clients at all levels of the Massachusetts court system, from the District and Superior Courts to the Supreme Judicial Court. He has represented clients in Federal Courts and before arbitrators and mediators, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (“MCAD”) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”).
In addition to his results and legal skills, Jeff prides himself on his personal relationships with his clients. Jeff takes the time to get to know his clients, understand their goals, and learn about their personal and family lives and how those factors might be impacted by litigation decisions. These relationships are not only a sense of pride for Jeff, but they allow him to better tailor legal strategies to his clients’ needs.
Jeff spent the first decade of his career working for several of the most prominent law firms in Boston before founding the Law Office of Jeffrey S. Strom in 2013. In 2024, he teamed up with his good friends and fellow attorneys, John Regan and Jay Livingstone, to found Regan Strom.
Jeff lives in Central Massachusetts with his wife, three children and golden retriever. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking the many beautiful local trails with his family and dog, skiing the many nearby mountains, and attending local festivals and events. A lifelong central Massachusetts resident, Jeff is an avid supporter of local businesses and patronizes them whenever possible.
Since 2023, Jeff has also served as a Trustee of the Touchstone Community School in Grafton.
